Jerzy Jarocki used the following works of Witold Gombrowicz: Virginity; Ferdydurke; Ivona, Princess of Burgundia; Testament: Interviews with Dominique de Roux; Journals; Operetta I; History; A Guide to Philosophy in Six Hours and Fifteen Minutes (Cours de philosophie en six heures un quart, trans. Bohdan Baran). And also a fragment of Gombrowicz in Europe 1963–1969 by Rita Gombrowicz (Gombrowicz en Europe. Témoignages et documents 1963–1969, trans. Oskar Hedemann and Maryna Ochab, Julia Juryś, Wojciech Karpiński, Jerzy Jarzębski), as well as the excerpts of Farewell Letter to Father JM Perrin, a Dominican, 1942 by Simone Weil (Lettre au père Perrin, trans. Czesław Miłosz).
